The Tuition Fee Loan is the finance option that covers the tuition fee. The amount of this fee for British citizens or EU citizens holding the Settle or Pre-Settle Status is £9,250/academic year. In order for the students to receive it, they need to apply on paper form or online (depending on circumstances) and send one of their original id to SFE. Once this loan is approved, the money will be paid to the university in 3 instalments, once the university confirms that the student has registered.

The Maintenance Loan was implemented to cover for the expenses that the students encounter during the academic year. For the academic year 2021-2022, the Maintenance Loan available for students who study in London is £12,387 and for those who study outside London, £9,488. The application process can be done online or on paper (depending on circumstances). Home students and students who hold the Settle Status will only need to send id and proof of status, while those holding Pre-Settle Status will need to prove their wok continuity for 3 months.
